避风塘

Don't be confused by its name, this restaurant serving Cantonese-fare has no connection to another famous restaurant in Taiwan with the same name. This restaurant is owned by a Singaporean, who has hired chefs from HK to come all the way down to whip up authentic Cantonese food for people in Singapore.

Ginseng and Snow Pear Chicken soup

Watercress and Pork Rib soup

Sour Plum and Garlic Chicken

Scallop and Mango Roll

Braised Ee-fu Noodle

Every week, there will be 2 kinds of Double-boiled soup on sale, and this week are the 2 above. Generally, i think the food here is not bad, except for the fried items which are pretty oily. They also serve La Mian and Congee for single servings, and prices are pretty affordable. I will came back again to try those next time.
